Welcome to the pediatric dental practice of Drs. Elayne and Despina Pappas.

Our office provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a warm, caring and "child-friendly" environment. As pediatric dentists, our 2-3 years of additional training after dental school has prepared us for the unique dental needs of each child we serve. We focus on preventive care to help each child grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Our office serves infants, children, teens and children with special health care needs in Bayside, NY.

About Us

Dr. Elayne Pappas

Dr. Elayne grew up in Bayside, N.Y. She graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004. She then attended Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. Dr. Elayne stayed at Stony Brook for her pediatric dental residency, where she was appointed Chief Resident during her second year. After receiving her NYS dental license she immediately joined the practice. She has successfully completed her board certification and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Elayne is happily married to Daniel Antzoulis, a pilot for Jet Blue. They have a three year old daughter named Nina and live in Whitestone. She enjoys traveling, sports, cooking and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Dr. Elayne believes every child deserves high quality dental care and the chance to have a pleasant, enjoyable dental experience. The intimate practice setting allows your child to become part of our family.

Dr. Despina Pappas

Dr. Despina Pappas graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts. She attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and her certificate to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. She opened her practice in 1979. Dr. Despina has furthered her education by taking continuing education courses in orthodontics. She began those courses in 1988 and still attends today. Dr. Despina has been married for 44 years to her husband Ike. She has three children and six grandchildren. When she is not in the office she is usually babysitting one or more of her grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
